The Houma office of Mayhall Fondren Blaize (MFB Firm) seeks to hire an attorney with two to five years of litigation experience to join us as an associate attorney in our commercial practice. Applicants MUST have the ability to read, write and interpret business contracts. Applicants should have excellent research skills and writing proficiency. Practice areas will include general business law, liability disputes, personal injury litigation, trucking/transportation, coverage disputes, and business negotiations. Candidates should possess the ability to handle an active trial docket by attending hearings, attending depositions, drafting client reports, drafting motions, drafting standard litigation pleadings, and drafting settlement documents.

A Louisiana law license is required for this position. Potential candidates must be in good standing with LBA. Persons with a strong work ethic, superior writing skills, attention to detail, and focus will thrive in this position.
